Binding Method: First, power on the receiver. If no signal is detected within 5 seconds, it will automatically enter the binding mode (LED changes from slow blinking to fast blinking). Then, follow the binding operation on the transmitter (remote control) to power on and bind. When the LED on the receiver changes from fast blinking to solid bright, it indicates that the frequency matching is successful. Note for FrSky receivers: For the first time binding, power the receiver beforehand, as soon as the receiver's LED blinks rapidly, press and hold the binding button on the original FrSky transmitter (keep holding) to turn on the transmitter for binding. After the receiver's LED changes from fast blinking to slow blinking, release the binding button, turn off the transmitter, and then turn it on normally (without pressing the binding button). If the receiver's LED stays lit, the binding is successful.
Regarding the telemetry function TELEM(some of the versions of the receiver get this function): It enables real-time monitoring of battery voltage, receiver operating voltage, receiver signal strength, and receiver operating temperature. This function also requires transmitter support, allowing users to keep track of the receiver's operating status and battery discharge in real-time, thereby avoiding situations such as flying beyond the remote control range and battery over-discharge. Note: The effective range of the telemetry function is related to the remote control itself. It is possible that the operating distance of the receiver may far exceed the effective range of the telemetry function, which is a normal phenomenon.
Throttle Lock Function: This function is designed to prevent accidental throttle activation due to mishandling. Brushed motors will not start due to changes in the transmitter's throttle lever position after the receiver is powered on. After the receiver is powered on and receives a signal, the transmitter's throttle lever should be kept at the lowest position for about 2 seconds for the first time. At this point, the receiver's LED will dim for about 2 seconds and then light up again, which will release the brushed ESC lock, allowing the motor to start normally.
